A TRIP TO OVERCOME:
This film is a dramatic short about a young man who discovers his own views about society as he chooses not to be a follower or fall under the hardships of peer pressure. (16 min)

BACKFIRE
This action packed film stars James Andrews (Christmas Mission, Don't Waste Utah Commercials) A young couple experience car trouble on the highway, which escalates into a nightmare. (18 min)

BARRY THE BOTANIST
This is the short tale of Barry, a man who loves the outdoors. He spends most of his time taping broken flowers and branches back together. But when two strangers confront Barry, he finds that it'll take more than just tape to piece himself back together. Contains Violence (4 min)

CARAVAN TO HERMOSILLO:
A Documentary of a journey taken by the students of Bloomington Hills Elementary and Pine View High School, to the Cruz Galves School in Hermosillo Mexico. This was an experience that changed their lives forever. (12 min)

CARBON COPY:
Tells a "Hitchcockian" tale in which a man, haunted by tragedy in his past, gets a second chance to redeem himself through an unexpected turn of events.

DON'T MIX PAINT WITH BLOOD:
This is case of mistaken identity when a simple house painter is kidnapped by a group of ruthless thugs who think he is someone else. This is an action packed film from the director of "Gravediggers" that will keep you in stitches and keep you on the edge of your seat. Due to violent content, Viewer Discretion is advised. (14 min)

GOD SPEAKS SPANISH:
The personal narrative of Benjamin Suárez, a young Latino professional living in Chicago climbing the corporate ladder. Benjamin's strained relationship with his grandfather causes him nostalgia and confusion about issues in life. The film explores the poverty that affects both rich and poor: the poverty of loneliness. Chicago Latino Film Festival 2000. New York International Latino Film Festival 2000. (12 min)

GRAVEDIGGERS:
A young man learns the term "the wrong place at the wrong time," when he discovers a group of men burying what seems to be a dog out in the middle of the woods. Only he finds out that its not a dog they are burying. "Gravediggers" won the award for "BEST PICTURE" and the "AUDIENCE AWARD" at last years festival; it is a dark comedy full of action and suspense. (8 min)

GRID IRON TROLL
Gandolf Tolken is a man who had a brush with destiny. The old wives tale of honking your horn and lifting your feet to escape the wrath of the troll didn't affect Gandolf. Until one night he found the story to be true. Now Gandolf spends his time warning those who cross the cattle guards to lift and honk. This is his story. (8 min)

THE LAST CUP:
An older man enters a restaurant just before closing time. He engages in conversation with the waitress about life. He tells her that he's in town visiting his daughter. He asks the young woman about her father, only to find her father left her mother when she was very young. This man has something to tell her, something that could change her life. (8 min)

THE MOUNTAIN MEADOWS MASSACRE
This documentary is taken from the real life events that unfolded in September of 1847 when a wagon train going through Southern Utah to California was attacked and 120 people were killed. This documentary was shot and produced by film students from Dixie State College. It is an unbiased look on the events that led to the massacre and the events that led to the trial and execution of John D. Lee, the man who was held responsible and paid the price for the massacre with his life. (56 min)

THE NEST:
During the Korean War A soldier is forced to face his fears and his greatest enemy- himself. He abandons a comrade on the battlefield and his only salvation comes when he is forced to retrieve the body of a soldier and ends up trying to save a new recruit. A hard-hitting drama and exceptional characterizations meet the realities of war. (25 min)

NIGHTMARE:
A simple little tale of a man whose fowl deeds haunts his dreams. (3 min)

NOT WAVING BUT DROWNING:
A young woman named Maya is unhappy with the life she has ended up with. She finds herself struggling with the lines between fantasy and reality. (13 min)

POSTER OF THE COSMOS
This monlogue, set in an interrogation room of a police precinct, shatters stereotypes and prejudice as Tommy discloses his relationship with the deceased. (9 min)

TAKE THREE:
It is midsummer and Lindsey, Ophelia, and Andrea are comfortable in the rut of watching their favorite soap opera. A series of events spur them to a decision of doing something adventurous. They decide to film a soap opera of their own, as they go through this process they make a way toward their own creative expression. (24 min)

TEAM RESUCE:
This is a hilarious short that spoofs such shows as "Cops" and the "Crocodile Hunter." A camera crew follows a group of four scientists on an expedition into the bowls of a suburban neighborhood to track down the mysterious Desodus Gothicus (People who dress in gothic clothing) who are out of their natural habitat. The team takes it upon themselves to round these creatures up and take them back to their natural habitat. (24 min)

THE UPPER HAND:
Three young men are hanging out one day when a mysterious package arrives in the mail. The three friends have no idea who or where the strange package came from. Opening it they find a map that promises to lead them to buried treasure, or does it??? (27 min)

THE VANISHING POINT:
A trilling tale of a woman who is stalked through a snow-covered train station by a mysterious photographer. She evades him, but he leaves a role of film behind for her. She takes the role of film to be developed and finds that the photographer is more than what he appeared to be. (12 min)

WARPLAY:
This is an action packed story about a young boy who is fascinated with war, but has the inability to separate his imagination with reality. When play fighting with a friend, trouble occurs when the rules of engagement and the chance of war don't go his way. The momentum of battle fuels his temper and he loses control, blurring the line between reality and imagination. (14 min)
